A. Ataka Awwalur Rizqi
Meet Ataka, a distinguished lecturer and accomplished researcher in the realm of robotics, boasting over seven years of extensive experience across academic and industrial landscapes spanning the UK, Singapore, and Indonesia. With a prolific track record, he has authored more than 30 articles, making his mark in esteemed journals such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics and Soft Robotics, as well as prominent robotics conferences like ICRA and IROS. Beyond his academic role at Universitas Gajah Mada, Ataka’s entrepreneurial spirit shines through as a co-founder of tech ventures including JALA and ABAROBOTICS. Additionally, he has taken the lead in nurturing the next generation of robotic enthusiasts as a driving force behind the robotics education provider, Jago Robotika. At the heart of his pursuits lies a profound interest in robot intelligence, navigation, control, and the emerging realm of soft robotics. Within Pijar Foundation, Ataka spearheads a range of technology-related initiatives both within the organization and beyond. His visionary leadership is a cornerstone, propelling us towards a future where technology transforms lives and sparks innovation. Ataka holds a Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from King’s College London.
